Who We Are:

Laura Goodman     

A founder of several restaurant-focused businesses, including DiningOut Chicago, which she published and ran for almost two decades, Laura knows the owners, chefs, publicists and industry pros that make the food scene flourish in Chicago and beyond.  Having organized food service for The American Cancer Society’s Annual Gala (and other non-profit events) for years, Laura understands operations.  Most importantly, as a long-time advisor to the hospitality industry, she’s held in high esteem by all who know her.

Evan Leventhal  

While at Harvard Business School, Evan helped launch StarChefs, a B2B trade publication that has moved the industry forward for 25+ years.  Honoring talent through a Rising Stars program recognizing those seeing beyond their four walls to impact the industry, Evan developed deep relationships across the country promoting the vanguard of the national restaurant community while advising brands and countries to facilitate relationships with top culinary professionals.  His leadership overseeing The International Chefs Congress, the premier annual gathering of industry thought leaders for 15 years, and organizing hundreds of elevated food events throughout the country make him an invaluable resource and collaborator.
